4 Steps for a successful training plan in your company
In order for the training provided to have a significant impact on the individual performance of your employees and consequently on the productivity of your company, there are some phases that must be considered.
These steps can be carried out by members of your organization or, if you do not have internal capacity, by an external company specialized in training in your business area.
Regardless of the choice, the important thing is to have a successful training plan is to always follow the 4 steps listed below:
1. Diagnosis
At first, the real needs of the organization are analyzed. The defined objectives, the existing conditions, the available technological means and the knowledge of each trainee must be considered. After the diagnosis, it will be possible to carry out a training plan appropriated to the reality of the company and the characteristics of the employees.
2. Structure
Once the analysis is done, the information obtained is used to start the structuring of the training. At this stage, the objectives, location and theoretical and practical contents to be addressed, as well as the necessary budget should be defined.
3. Implementation
After analyzing and structuring, it is time to put into practice. Provide your human resources with the best knowledge and that will allow you to boost your business with their contribution.
4. Evaluation
In the last step, a fundamental analysis is carried out: to verify if the training fulfilled the stipulated objectives. An evaluation of the formative content and the reactions, behaviors and learning of the trainees is also carried out. In this phase, the usefulness of the training is concluded, that is, it is analyzed if the company and trainees effectively benefited from it.
